Story is pretty secondary to me, as I find most of my enjoyment in the gameplay. Berserk Musou is the next game on my radar. From that point, I've played Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper, Dynasty Warriors 8 XLCE, Samurai Warriors Chronicles 3, Pirate Warriors 3, Samurai Warriors 4/4-II, and Arslan Musou. The gameplay was just immensely fun to me, hacking and slashing my way through hordes of enemies while looking like a badass. I bought Hyrule Warriors back in winter 2014, and immediately got hooked. I actually played Samurai Warriors on the PS2 back when I was in grade school at a friend's house, but it never stuck with me. While not too new, I'm relatively new to the Musou franchise compared to the veterans from the PS2 days. If your post randomly disappeared, it's probably because it has already been posted.
